The KAARO Oulu working group comprises staff members from the Faculty of Education of the University of Oulu and from the University’s centre for continuing education. The group’s goal is to boost interaction between basic and continuing education in the course of the project. The working group examines assessment from various perspectives and promotes the development of formative assessment in teacher training and in the field of basic education. It promotes diverse cooperation by organising joint education for teacher trainers, in-service teachers and students. In addition, KAARO Oulu takes part in arranging seminars, assessment events and other training open to all KAARO network participants as well as in producing online material.
